Moxabustion
Involves the burning of an herb called mugwort, which is held just above the skins surface on acupuncture points and along meridian lines. Moxibustion emits infrared radiation, penetrating deep into the tissue and cells. This increases microcirculation of the affected area and reduces pain and inflammation. This treatment is great for gynecological issues, digestive issues, acute joint or muscular injuries, acute or chronic pain and breech babies during pregnancy
